About                                                           

My goal was to provide the  best possible color combinations  to
differentiate things for the entire humanity.                   

Being a deuteranop myself, I felt the soft discrimination during
all my life.  When someone with  normal color vision figures out
some color coding,  he or she rarely thinks on making it differ-
entiable for the minority who has  some kind of color blindness.
Lights, signs, panels, wires, maps, charts, tools, games... many
items are  hard to differentiate  for someone with  color vision
defficiency.                                                    

Please start thinking on making things properly visible for them
as well!                                                        

Hence these palettes.                                           

The  CVF palettes have the highest possible perceived difference
property in the  sRGB color space  for the number of colors they
represent, considering all types of color visions:              

  • Normal vision                                               
  • Deuteranopia                                                
  • Protanopia                                                  
  • Tritanopia                                                  
  • Achromatopsia                                               

The first order of optimization was done by achromatopsia.  That
resulted the  GRAYSCALE Palette Collection which is the basis of
all CVF palettes. For the second order of optimization all color
visions were weighted equally.                                  

This is  a new approach for making color blind frienly palettes.
Former authors optimized only for the most common defficiencies,
deuteranopia and protanopia.                                    

The palettes  contain increasing number of colors  from black to
white inclusive.  The intermediate colors are evaluated using an
industry standard method to maximize the perceived difference of
the palettes.                                                   

For each number of colors  there is an assortment of palettes to
choose from with the top one being the best but none being below
90% from the best in terms of color differentiation quality.
